The play is universally recognized as providing powerful testimony to the principles of tolerance and justice

Underway (New Works in Process)

Square Peg, Round Hole: A Theatrical Exploration of the Autistic Spectrum

Andy Paris, a founding member/writer of Tectonic Theater Project is researching a new play to be developed in the 11-12 and 12-13 season, to address his response to his young daughter’s autism diagnosis. The diagnosis was not an answer, but a provocative question... In her world, “What does she see? What does she hear? What does she understand? What appears initially as her isolation, reveals the broad reach of autism. Had the diagnosis existed then, she might have been a member of a community that included Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Thomas Jefferson and Michelangelo.

“A stately procession through which swims a stirring medley of emotions: anger, sorrow, bewilderment and, most poignantly, a defiant glimmer of hope." –The New York Times
“This is an impeccably honed production, its fine cast backed by exquisite visuals.” –Variety
